MEET THE FACULTY

Founded by Daniel E. Furst, MD, MACR, the MedscapeLIVE rheumatology conference later added Marcy Bolster, MD and Brian F. Mandell, MD, PhD, MACR, MACP to the faculty. All of the chairs have an incredible depth of knowledge, with decades of experience and hundreds of published papers between them.
We’re especially honored to have rheumatologists who have earned many distinctions, including the ACR Distinguished Program Director Award, the Partners (Mass General Brigham) Outstanding Program Director Award, and the Arthritis Foundation Marian Ropes Lifetime Achievement Award. Their dedication has led them to serve their community as board and committee members in such organizations as the American College of Rheumatology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians, the FDA’s Arthritis Advisory Panel, and the Gout and Uric Acid Education Society.

Enhancing Education Together

PRD provides healthcare professionals with many beneficial opportunities. We want you to network with other professionals, discover cutting-edge developments in your field, and discuss insights with an esteemed faculty. This event is also designed to ensure you can enhance your practice with continuing education credits for license renewals.
Perspectives in Rheumatic Diseases is a partnership between select medical professionals, the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, and the Global Academy of Medical Education. As an accredited seminar, attendees have the chance to earn up to 13.5 CME/CE credits. During every event, we strive to empower you to enhance patient care in your practice. We deliver topical, vibrant sessions on the hottest topics in the field to ensure you can find new ways to help your patients thrive.
