Dr. Marcy B. Bolster is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is the Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program.
Her clinical interests are in systemic sclerosis, osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Bolster has a strong interest in training and education and has held leadership roles with the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) for curriculum design and assessment as well as the ACR Workforce Study and strategic planning. Additional educational leadership roles have included work with the ABIM Rheumatology Exam Committee and the ACGME.
Dr. Bolster has received awards including the ACR Distinguished Program Director Award (2019), the Partners (Mass General Brigham) Outstanding Program Director Award (2019), and the Arthritis Foundation Marian Ropes Lifetime Achievement Award (2021).
